How to Test a Controller on PC (Windows & Mac)
Three easy ways to test your gamepad on a computer: online tester, Windows joy.cpl, and Steam.
Online tester (fastest)
Open GPadTester, connect your controller, and press any button. Every button, stick and trigger shows up live, no install needed.
Windows joy.cpl
Press Win+R, type joy.cpl, select your controller and click Properties to view inputs.
Steam
Steam → Settings → Controller → Test device inputs shows a detailed view, including gyro on supported pads.
